The Information Asset Management Program Administrator manages all Cook Myosite-wide Information Management and Data Governance activities. The position focuses on, for all Business Units, establishing and ensuring adherence to the Cook Myosite Information Governance framework for policies, data standards, standard operating procedures and practices to achieve the required level of auditable information quality. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead overall IAM program, developing framework of program and roadmaps for implementation and continuous improvement 

• Promote and educate business units about the Program, its activities and benefits 

• Align the use of technology to the enterprise information strategy 

• Serves as a point of escalation for governance and information protection issues 

• Work closely with Business Unit leadership to improve the use of strategic data with confidence 

• Along with Information SMEs and DG Partners, author standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with Business Units 

• Develop, review and monitor DG metrics to assess performance and effectiveness of the Program 

• Mentor and consult the Steering Committee Information SMEs, Information Stewards and Working Teams on the Program and related policies, procedures and standards 

• Establish and ensure adherence through auditing to the enterprise information governance framework for data policies, standards, and practices to achieve the required level of data protection and availability of data to meet overall business needs 

• Develop and maintain a complete Cook Myosite Data Resource Inventory 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, business, IT or other relevant fields 

• Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 

• 2+ years of leading complex projects or program management 

• Strong knowledge of data governance best practices 

• Sound knowledge of privacy standards and regulatory requirements 

• Experience in resolving issues of data quality, storage, protection and dissemination 

• Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred 

• 3+ years’ using MS Word, Excel, and Visio or equivalent 

• Demonstrable ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions 

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and ability to work in both collaborative and independent work situations 

• Demonstrable exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills 

• Ability to understand FDA cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and related regulations associated with Bio/Pharmaceutical/Med product manufacturing and best practices (e.g. ISPE GAMP)
